1970 Ford F-250 Camper Special 4x4 – Patina Body, Brand-New Bones
Third owner. California original.
This 1970 F-250 started life as a Camper Special and now sits on a fully rebuilt 4x4 chassis after a complete nut-and-bolt restoration underneath. Everything mechanical has been touched — powder-coated frame, rebuilt drivetrain, and more.
Under the hood: 390 V8 with a mild cam, Holley 600cfm vacuum-secondary carb, Hedman headers, and 3” stainless exhaust. Every accessory is new, including hoses, gas tank, and a recored factory radiator. It’s backed by power steering, power brakes, braided stainless lines, and a custom audio setup with AM/FM/AUX + Kicker speakers. Ice-cold Vintage Air A/C keeps it comfortable inside.
The body is original, rust-free patina — preserved in “Sweet Patina Sauce.” It rides on powder-coated Ford wheels wrapped in new STA Super Lugs (9.00-16). Inside: fresh carpet, new sill plates, and factory A/C parts included with the sale if you want to go original.
Factory roots, off-road guts. This one’s ready for show or go.
