On the Roadeo Ep 05

She the Fastest woman on the mountain. Still drives an ’85 Ford.
Out near Temecula, Kailey Skelton’s got a garage full of gear — bikes, boards, moto helmets — but it’s her 1985 Ford F-250 XLT 4x4 that holds steady.
She’s one of the winningest downhill mountain bikers of her era — a 3x champion who’s chased podiums from the high desert to the Alps. But when she’s home, it’s the old Bullnose Ford that keeps her grounded.
She grew up getting dropped off at school in her dad’s square-body K5, cassette deck cranked, and that sound and smell stuck with her. These days she’s a photographer, surfer, moto rider, and proud dog mom to Berkley — who’s almost always riding shotgun.

The F-250’s no showpiece. It’s got dents, dust, and a few quirks, but it runs hard and still earns its spot in the driveway. Kailey works on it herself and whips donuts when the mood’s right. It’s a California life — part dirt, part sea salt — with a bullnose Ford holding it all together.
