Rogue Skijoring, Montana StyleEvery winter, Whitefish throws a proper skijoring event — ropes, skis, and full-blown crowds. But before the big show, Eli from Kalispell had an idea: what if we ran a warm-up in his backyard?

So that’s what we did. A few days before the main event, we met up with Eli, a handful of local cowboys and cowgirls, and a 1974 Ford F-250. We roped up a couple skiers, carved a makeshift track through the snow, and turned his field into a rogue rodeo. No rules, no grandstands — just speed, snow, and a damn good time.

Here’s a few of the shots that came out of it. Not official. Not polished. Just the kind of fun you only get when someone’s got a good truck and a little land to play with.
