BOB ROSS WOULD HAVE LOVED THIS 4x4

1973 INTERNATIONAL 1210 4x4 PICKUP TRUCK

This Rolling Mural on a Rare International 4x4 is Up For Grabs

Back in the 1970s, before Instagram builds and fake patina, a Wisconsin outfit called Leisure & Recreational Products (LRP) was out there doing the Lord’s work — laying down pinstripes, airbrushing mountain scenes, and bolting bubble windows onto vans and 4x4s across the Midwest.

They didn’t just build campers. They built moving murals.

And while most of their work rolled out on Dodge and Chevy vans, every now and then something different got the LRP touch. Like this: a 1973 International 1200 4x4, now wearing a full hand-painted forest scene — trees, birds, the whole Bob Ross starter kit — right there on the side panels.

This isn’t just a showpiece. It’s been daily-driven for the last five years. It’s tough. It’s rare. And it still runs like a truck should. But it’s also one of the few surviving examples of a forgotten moment in American truck culture — when folks weren’t just building rigs for work or for show, but for expression.

It’s a four-wheel-drive time capsule, painted up and ready for its next chapter.

This LRP International is now for sale. If you're looking to own something truly one-of-one — and aren't afraid of turning a few heads at the gas station — this might be your truck.

Get in touch if you want the full details. We don’t expect this one to hang around long. Its priced at $15,000. Good Luck.
